Established in September 2016 under the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, the Gujarat Samras Chhatralay Society operates hostels across multiple districts, including Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Anand, Patan, Himmatnagar, and Bhuj. These hostels are designed to accommodate students from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), and Economically Backward Classes (EBC), promoting the ethos of "All Castes Under One Roof."(NEWS CORNER, Gujarat University)
